Sustainable lanterns made from old wine bottles

For our UPCYCLING table lanterns the lower part of a wine bottle is separated and replaced by a base made of old oak. The upper part of the bottle is also separated, creating a very minimalistic and sustainable decoration for indoors and outdoors. - The light of a candle burns in all weathers. Table lanterns create a very special atmosphere, especially on the balcony, terrace or in the garden.

Production of the sustainable lanterns

The wine bottles are collected in Romania (Medias) from nearby bars and restaurants. Then they are cleaned, cut, sanded and polished. In the end unique lanterns with a height of 19cm, 22cm or 25cm are created.

Use and disposal

At the end of their life, the upper glass parts go to waste glass. The wooden basis can just be burnt.
